Mother & Son Art Exhibit for Autism Awareness Month Month

“In recognition of upcoming Autism Awareness month in April, the Roxbury Senior Center’s Art on Display program will feature a mother and son duo from Cincinnati, Ohio, Aaron M. Strait and Dawn Strait Wallace, from Monday, March 4 through Sunday, March 31. Reception: Saturday, March 9, 2-4 pm. Aaron, who is 31 years old and autistic, and his mother Dawn, have been exhibiting their art works since 2012 and raising money for programs that benefit persons with disabilities. Together they formed “Aaron’s Art for Autism” selling original paintings as well as notecards and holiday cards printed from their original works.
