The Newtown Cultural Arts Commission facilitates the sharing of the arts in Newtown. The Newtown Arts Festival, our calendar, our grants to artists, the Municipal Art Gallery and Artisan Showcase we manage…all combine to make the arts in Newtown available to everyone.
Art Festival
The Newtown Arts Festival showcases all forms of creative expression.
Grants & Scholarships
Annually, the Commission awards scholarships to Newtown graduating seniors who will be majoring in the arts and grants to Newtown artists and Newtown organizations or groups, who bring the arts to Newtown.
Gallery & Showcase
The Arts Commission manages and curates the Newtown Municipal Arts Gallery and the Artisans Showcase.
Other Projects
The Arts Commission supports other ongoing projects and activities.
