In the summer of 1963, teenager Frances “Baby” Houseman is vacationing with her family— doctor father Jake, mother Marge and older sister Lisa—at Kellerman’s, an upscale Catskill’s resort in the Borscht beltowned by Jake’s sarcastic best friend Max.

Bored, “Baby” starts a relationship with one of the resort dancers.
