CONNECT : Small Prints by Members of The Boston Printmakers

CONNECT is an exhibition prompted by the theme of “communication” where artists created small prints with a variety of “messaging,” “news,” or whatever they wanted to “post.” People around the world have been plunged into communicating through technology. Internet and cellphone communication have become lifelines for staying connected to family and friends or for virtually gathering on momentous occasions. This traveling show by Boston Printmakers presents the best in contemporary, traditional and experimental printmaking, from members across North America. This collection of prints captures the creativity of artists and documents a global spirit of togetherness through communication. All prints are 8 x 10 inches or smaller (matted or mounted on 8 x 10-inch board). They may seem small in size, but the images are powerful, intriguing, and technically accomplished.
