Amistad Part 2

The Amistad recreation ship will be docked in Bridgeport exclusively for attendees of this special event, complete with guided VIP tours for our patrons. Participants will learn about the Amistad story from its beginnings in West Africa, the Middle Passage, rebellion on the ship, and the trials in the United States, which began here in our Connecticut courtrooms. The event will also feature the dockside entertainment of African cultural dances and music.
